HIGH SCHOOL GIRLS 2018/19 OFF SEASON/WINTER PROGRAMS
The WLA & HS Girls Committee has bee busy working on getting the off season programming assembled. Our goal is to develop a program that will allow our teams to be in the best position for success once the season starts. Below are the programs we have developed for returning Varsity, JV and Freshman players.
We are still working on stickwork/drill program for current Freshman players - more to come on that at a later date. Please let me know if you have any questions on the below information and let's get ready for a great season.

1) Zengo Conditioning: Geared towards High School players, girls who want to improve their fitness base and be prepared for tryouts. Program will teach form drills and develop cardiovascular, muscular and core endurance. Sessions include a warmup, dynamic drills, workout (geared towards tryouts), then a cool down. Injury prevention exercises will also be included. Open to returning WHS players first – if space allows will be open to Freshman at a later date.
Dates: Jan 29, 31 – Feb 5, 7, 12, 14, 19, 21, 26, 28 (10 Sessions)
Tuesday (Zeoli FH) – 7:30 AM, Thursday (Track) 3:15 PM (if inclement weather inside at Zeoli FH 6:30 AM, call on “inclement weather” will be made at Tuesdays session)
4) SONO Winter League: Full field games with referees – we will field one (1) team with returning WHS players (10-12) only. Limited to 20 players - Returning Varsity will be given preference then returning JV then returning Freshman if necessary.
Dates: Dec 8, 15 – Jan 5, 12, 19, 26 – Feb 2, 9, 16, 23

5) Wilton Sport & Fitness:The WS&F program involves two components - a field session where stickwork, footwork, shooting and other drills will be run by coach selected by WHS Coaching Staff and a lifting/workout session with a WS&F certified trainer. There will be a total of 10 two hour sessions on Sunday Nights. – open to all WHS players (gr 9-12).
