Girls Intramural Lacrosse is designed to teach the fundamental skills and rules of Girls Lacrosse to beginners and novices of the sport while having fun.  They will also learn the importance of teamwork, good sportsmanship and respect for the game.  This program is a great introduction to girls lacrosse for both the players and their families as there is plenty of opportunity for parent participation.  
 

Program Overview: We have 2 practices per week. Thursday evenings 5:45-7:00 @ Allen's 5 and Sunday 11:00 - Noon @ North Field. We hope to start 1st week of April weather permitting. There is no lacrosse over April break.

Practice will be held two days per week  The practices are designed to be fun and will focus on skill development and understanding the basic rules of the game.  

The practice/scrimmages will gradually introduce the elements of cross field 7v7 game play, and will increase as the girls gain more experience.

Season runs from early April through eary June.

There will be no formal programming the week of spring break or Easter weekend.
  
Equipment:  Girls are required to have their own stick, goggles, mouthpiece and cleats.  Pinnies will be provided by the WLA once the season starts.

Practice Days: THURSDAY 5:45-7:00 @ ALLEN'S 5 and SUNDAY 11:00AM - NOON @ NORTH FIELD.

Fees: $235 (NO LATE FEE FOR THIS GROUP)
